FANTOM
(Feiner Stern/Ratibor)

Showing and Winning at 3rd Level!
Fantom
is a 2003 registered Holsteiner (AHHA) gelding, 16.2 hands, by Feiner Stern and out of a Ratibore mare. He has a puppy-dog personality and a willingness to learn. Over the past few years, he has gone from being
very green to qualifying at second level dressage! He has scored as high as 74% at training and first level. In 2010 he helped
his rider become the reserve champion training level junior young rider, and third place first level junior young rider of
the year for the IDCTA. In 2011 during the USDF Youth Regional Team Competition he helped his team earn reserve champion medals,
performing second level tests. His laterals are a dream. Fantom's half-passes have come quite naturally to him in both the
trot and canter, and flying changes are really coming along. He will be showing 3rd level next year, and possibly 4th.
Sire: At his stallion performance
test in Adelheidsdorf (1986), Feiner Stern scored 126.49 (7th/53) and received 9.0s for rideability, trot, canter,
and ability to work. Due to this performance, in combination with a convincing first crop as well as his impressive appearance,
he was awarded the title of main premium winning stallion in Oldenburg in 1987. His first batch of foals brought 4 approved
sons, among them Feinbrand, the first reserve champion and Fair Play, the 2nd reserve champion of the 1989 stallion approvals
in Oldenburg. Feiner Stern now stands in the USA
and continues to produce superb all round sports horses. He has produced 18 approved
sons and 26 States Premium mares.
Dam: is by Ratibor, who’s great
legacy was his offspring. He was the Holsteiner breed's most successful sport horse sire for five years running. Numerous
offspring are currently competing in dressage at the FEI levels and in eventing and jumping. At a recent qualifying class
for Young Riders in dressage, four of the eight competitors rode Ratibor offspring.R-line Holsteiners-one of the most influential
lines of the breed.
